Adding to what we already said on the home page about our yoga tradition, this page informs you of the formal and oranizational features of the Institute.

I.I.R.Y. isn't a place where to go and practice yoga, it's an association of teachers and schools throughout Italy and Europe, dedicated to the study, research and education of yoga.

In Italy the Institute is a member of the CNY (Yoga National Confederation)
CNY is recognised by the Italian Ministry of the Public Instruction, for teaching Yoga in schools. Linked here is the Protocollo di Intesa the legal document (Italian only) which was re-issued on 13.07.07.

The Education Program to become a teacher is restricted to Active Members who are experienced students and recommended by their Teacher.
